The OA travels across multiple parallel dimensions, each a variation on our own world. In Part II, she arrives in a version of the Bay Area where she is Nina Azarova — someone she has always been somewhere.

Hap & the Khatun
Hunter "Hap" Percy, the capturer-turned-fellow traveler, pursues the movements for control. The Khatun — a supernatural being in the space between dimensions — gifted Prairie her name: The Original Angel.
Season II
The House on Nob Hill
The strange Nob Hill house in San Francisco is a nexus — a building that appears across dimensions. Its architecture bends around the movements, and its mirrors seem to reflect more than our world.
